Record and translate your first meeting

This guide takes you from sign-in to a saved bilingual transcript and meeting summary.

About 5 minutes

Before you start

Go to app.lingochan.com, choose Sign in, then continue with Google.

Expected result: You arrive at My meetings.

If the redirect is blocked, allow pop-ups and cross-site redirects for the app domain.

Select Record a new meeting, choose the language you want the spoken content translated into, then press the microphone button.

Expected result: The browser asks for microphone permission and the status changes to Recording.

Talk naturally. LingoChan displays finalized original and translated sentences as the conversation continues.

Expected result: Bilingual transcript cards appear with timestamps and detected language.

Use Pause when the conversation stops temporarily. Use the red Stop button when the meeting is complete.

Expected result: LingoChan saves the transcript and recording, then opens the meeting detail page.

Play the audio, select a transcript timestamp, review the AI overview, decisions and action items, or regenerate the summary if needed.

Expected result: You have a reusable meeting record and summary.

Download the audio, export the transcript as CSV, rename the meeting, or delete it from My meetings.

Expected result: Your meeting history contains only the material you want to keep.

Check the browser site permissions and the selected input device, then reload before starting another recording.

Confirm the status says Recording, speak close to the microphone and check that the network is stable.

Stop the current meeting and choose the intended target language before starting a new one.

The transcript may still be available when an upload fails. Keep the page open until navigation to the detail page completes.
